Attention NorCal Readers

We’ve just received the following note from our San Francisco office. They’re too busy being happy to post it online, but we promised we would share it with Northern Californian readers.

For those of you tired of hearing about unattendable n+1 events taking place in distant, gray, slush-bound New York, we have good news: editors Keith Gessen and Mark Greif are making a brief and rare trip to California next week to give a talk at Stanford. The lecture is titled, “How (Not) to Start a Little Magazine”–a discussion about the early days of the magazine’s founding–and it is free and open to the public. Here are the details:

Keith Gessen and Mark Greif, editors of n+1 magazine
“How (Not) to Start a Little Magazine”
6:15–7 PM, Tuesday, February 8
Herrin T175

Here’s where Herrin T175 is at Stanford (where, incidentally, parking is free after 4 PM).

Hope to see you all there.

Yours ever,

Nikil Saval & Edward Morgan Day Frank
